There are seasons and times in ministry where folks come and go typically as a result of life events or an end to a great era of service at the PRC of Metro Richmond. We are in one of those periods now and wanted to make our volunteers aware of employment opportunities for these positions.
Carol Wray will retire on April 1, 2020 after 22 plus years of service.
Director of Office Management & Finance
The director of office management & finance has the responsibility for aiding the executive director in administrative duties directly related to the operations of the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond (PRC). Major duties involve ensuring efficient office procedures including all aspects of financial bookkeeping including payroll, employee benefits oversight, clerical tasks, and written communication: familiarity with office automation and computers is essential in performance of these duties. Three to five years bookkeeping experience and proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred. This is a full time 40 hour a week position. Kimberly McCormick was our Director of Communications so we are now ready to fill that position.
The Director of Communications, in conjunction with the Executive Director, plans, implements, and coordinates fundraising efforts and community activities that will encourage, maintain, and increase philanthropic support to meet the short and long term needs of the PRC of Metro Richmond. These activities shall be consistent with the mission and goals of the organization and shall reach individuals, corporations, churches, and para-church organizations in the community. This position will require that a candidate be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Previous development skills are preferred. This is a 40 hour per week position. Pam Foster has done an amazing job as Receptionist, and now feels called to step down to focus on family.
