Patience Flynn is one of those rare “born” Virginians. After living in the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Texas she ended up in Richmond in 1992 with her husband Dennis. They have four children, seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. They joined St. Giles in 1993. Since that time she has served as an Elder, Clerk of the Session, Chairman of Congregational Care, Chairman of Personnel Committee/Staff Resources Team and Head of the Wedding Guild.

While living in Texas “Miz P” returned to college at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor where she majored in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. Prior to coming to St. Giles as Church Administrator she was with a transportation company for twenty four years. With that company she served as Office Manager, Facility Manager, Director of Corporate Administration, and Director of Human Resources.
