Jeff Butler
Visitation Pastor
Jeff Butler’s ministry of pastoral care here began in September of 2003. Prior to that he served as a church staff minister in Tidewater, in a solo pastorate west of Roanoke, and as a hospital chaplain in Richmond. He has a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education. Jeff also served as a sports broadcaster for 11 years doing radio “play by play” for two local high schools, (Patrick Henry and Petersburg) and two local colleges (Randolph-Macon and Virginia Union). He is an avid racquetball player and enjoys an occasional round of golf. He is an active member of Richmond’s “Community Fellowship," a group of Christian singles. Jeff loves to dance and teaches dance in many settings around the community. |
