St. Giles has partnered with Mission RVA and Make Studio have adopted the Ellwood Recovery House during the COVID-19 epidemic.
Angie Cooke has coordinated purchase and delivery of food, household supplies, clothing, and personal hygiene projects while the residents have had to shelter in place, some losing employment and other support for months.
Richmond City has begun opening up again, but continued support is needed during the transition period. State Employment offices and job search resources are not yet available in Richmond City, so we are not ready to stop supporting these ladies who have been so appreciative of our contributions thus far. If you feel led to contribute, donations of food or casseroles and financial donations are welcome. Monetary donations via check can be made out to St. Giles or donate online HERE. All proceeds will go to support Ellwood House.
