Who is randy clark?
Randy Clark is an international itinerant minister, whose life and early ministry perfectly illustrate the aphorism, "don't despise small beginnings." Randy was the son
of an oil-field worker in Illinois. After his miraculous healing from a car accident when he was eighteen, he felt called into the ministry, and began pastoring in Baptist churches soon after. After college Randy went on Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he graduated in 1977. After many more years of ministry, Randy returned to seminary at United Theological Seminary, and graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2013. After initial encounters with the Holy Spirit’s empowering presence, Randy moved from being a Baptist pastor to starting a Vineyard Church in St. Louis. After a season when he felt the Lord’s presence and power had diminished, Randy went into some months of prayer and fasting. Soon after, he was touched by the Lord mightily, when on January 20, 1994, he was invited to preach for a revival at a small storefront church near the Toronto airport. Originally scheduled for 4 days, those meetings turned into a worldwide revival that has impacted millions of people, and launched thousands of new churches! The longest protracted meeting in North American history lasted 12 ½ years, six nights a week. That revival launched Randy into his international itinerant ministry, where he demonstrates the Lord's power to heal, with both great tenacity and great love. Randy has a strong anointing for healing and a marvelous teaching gift. Randy's ministry crosses denominational lines, having served in everything from the Westminster Chapel in London, to the St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Australia. |
During Randy’s long ministry journey, he has suffered persecution and experienced failures, but he has kept to his calling. He has been steadfast in his ministry, and has seen great blessing in the areas of healing, deliverance, and impartation. He is now a leader of a world-wide revival advancing on many fronts, empowered by the Holy Spirit and expressed in his gifts.
Since that life-changing night, January 20, 1994, Randy has traveled to over 50 countries and continues to travel extensively in this ministry. He lives in Mechanicsburg, PA, with his wife, DeAnne. They have 4 adult children: Joshua (and daughter-in-law Tonya), Johannah (and son-in-law David), Josiah (and daughter-in-law Allie), and Jeremiah (and daughter-in-law Lizzie). They have four grandchildren and expects to have twelve!
