Where do I go? Our sanctuary entrance faces Tuckahoe Blvd., as does our Church House, where classes are held, and the Reception Room, where the Common Grounds coffeehouse is open for coffee and visiting through the morning.
How should I dress? However you’re most comfortable. While people at our traditional 8:45 service tend to dress up a bit more than they do at our 11:00 contemporary service, you’ll see everything from blue jeans and t-shirts to suits and ties at each service. How you dress isn't important to us, and we don't think it is to God, either.
Do kids attend worship? St. Giles is a fantastic place for kids. Children are welcome in worship (even squirmy ones). The minister has a special "Children's Moment" at each service, and children in Grades K through 3 who attend the 11:00 service are then invited to leave for Kids Own Worship. Nursery care for infants through pre-K is available throughout the morning, and pagers are available in case our nursery staff needs to reach you. For more detailed information on our children’s programs, click here.
What about classes? Sunday school for all ages is offered at 10:00.
Where's the coffee? It's through the main Church House door on Tuckahoe Blvd, where you'll find yourself in Common Grounds! This is a great place to meet and greet others over a cup of good coffee and a pastry before or after worship.
