Angeline Cooke grew up in Williamsburg, and graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a B.A. in English Literature and Elementary and Secondary Education. Angie has been a second grade teacher and a programming planner for the Children’s Museum of Richmond. At St. Giles, she has served in many roles, including leading the Presbyterian Women and the Children’s Ministry Team.
Angie and her husband, Jimmy, have lived in Richmond for ten years and have been members of St. Giles for nine years. They have three children, ages 8, 6 and 1, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. She credits St. Giles with helping her shape the kids’ lives and providing a nurturing “second home.” Follow the sounds of children in the church and you are likely to find Angie creating a crayon masterpiece or reading a story to the kids.
Angie enjoys painting, travelling, reading, hiking, camping, and organizing. Yes, organizing! She looks forward to getting every closet in the children’s wing alphabetized and de-cluttered. Any volunteers?
