St. Giles' Wheelchair Initiative for Kazakhstan
The St. Giles' Wheelchair Initiative is in conjunction with our Interlink Outreach to the Kazakh people with our partner churches in Lynchburg, Virginia and Muncie, Indiana.
In 2009, the Children's Cerebral Palsy Clinic in Shymkent, Kazakhstan received a 20-foot container of wheelchairs, which St. Giles supported. Since our delegation trip last May, an urgent need has grown for over 300 additional wheelchairs.
A major wheelchair manufacturer is stepping up to the plate by providing wheelchairs at their cost ($175) and helping ship them to Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Please prayerfully consider giving towards this project -- we want to fill a 40-foot container with wheelchairs.

These precious children with cerebral palsy cannot walk. They need our help. Please make your check out to St. Giles Presbyterian Church, noting it is for the wheelchair initiative. You may place your check in the offering plate and/or send it to the church office. If you have uestions, please talk to Chic Silver.
