Welcome to Children's Garden Preschool!

Dear Parents:

It is my pleasure to introduce myself and our sweet little preschool to you. Here at Children’s Garden Preschool, we strive to give children a developmentally appropriate classroom atmosphere with a strong, loving Christian community. We recognize every child as a gift from God and work hard to show them that they are a valuable part of the school and the CGP Family.

There are many things I could tell you about our school, but I will highlight just a few to give you a taste of what we offer. Children spend their time in their classrooms using a traditional, center based approach to their learning. Teachers are there to facilitate learning, play and community. When the children are not in their individual classrooms, they are exploring in the Rainbow Room, our multi-purpose special events room. We will spend a morning with parents doing woodworking, cooking, art or another special activity. The highlight of this room, however, is that we come together as a multi-age community when we gather for this brief time. Children are able to model for each other and learn from each other. We also gather for Chapel, Music and Movement once a week. Additionally, preschoolers at CGP enjoy the benefit of our Children’s Church Library, available to the congregants at St. Giles, as well as the preschool.

What stands us apart? Community. Family. A love of God in the everyday. Come and visit us and see what we are all about – it’s a special place to see!

If we are not on a nature walk or busy planting flowers in the garden or painting a masterpiece, we would love to share our time with you! Visitors are welcome by appointment any day of the week. If you have any questions, please email me or call, I would be happy to discuss the school with you. In Christ,

In Christ,
Angie
